The Warlingham Learner
Key Values and the Warlingham Learner
Our key values are: Courage, Commitment and Kindness. The Warlingham Learner, which centres on and develops these values, is the means by which we articulate and develop the skills and personal attributes that our students need to become outstanding lifelong learners who are able to be happy and successful in school and in life beyond school. We all believe that there are no barriers or excuses to being the best learner we can be!
Our character curriculum is the means by which we teach students British Values and deliver their Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development (SMSC). Our comprehensive tutor programme, consisting of weekly main school assemblies, Votes4School sessions, house assemblies and the Inspire Programme, provides students with regular opportunities to explore Fundamental British Values and engage with a range of spiritual, moral, social and cultural debates.
